Cerebral Palsy and Birth Injury Claims

A birth injury claim is a specific type of medical malpractice claim involving injuries obtained during or immediately before or after the birth of a child. Cerebral palsy is a life-altering, sometimes severe condition and is one of the more common birth injuries. There are many causes related to the onset of cerebral palsy (including genetics), but several are often attributed to complications during delivery. These include: Lack of oxygen; Infection; and/or Head injury.
