Mezher Law Historic Events

1984

Kathleen Mezher graduates from the University of Dayton School of Law and begins her legal career at a Cincinnati law firm. During these early years, she develops a deep commitment to helping individuals and families navigate bankruptcy and financial hardship.

1986

With the support of her husband, Mike Mezher, Kathleen opens her own practice in Anderson Township under the name Kathleen Mezher & Associates. From the beginning, the firm is built around personal service, accessibility, and advocacy for everyday people.

1995

The firm experienced significant growth, hiring two additional attorneys to meet increasing client demand—one of whom continues to practice with the firm today.

2003

The firm relocates from its original Nagel Road office to its current location on Beechmont Avenue. The move reflects steady growth while maintaining strong roots in Anderson Township and the surrounding Cincinnati community.

2010

Kathleen’s oldest son, Michael, graduates from the University of Dayton School of Law and joins the firm. He expands the firm’s estate planning, probate, and trust administration practice, broadening the services offered to families across generations.

2012

Kathleen’s daughter, Christine, graduates from the University of Dayton School of Law and joins the firm. She continues the firm’s bankruptcy practice, carrying forward the work that originally shaped the firm’s foundation.

2018

Kathleen’s youngest son, Joseph, graduates from the University of Dayton School of Law and joins the firm. He expands Mezher Law’s personal injury practice, representing clients in serious injury, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, dog bite, and wrongful death cases.

2022

The firm officially rebrands as Mezher Law, reflecting its transition into the next generation of leadership while remaining grounded in the values on which it was founded.
